ACOs will receive their PY 2025 Q1 Medicare Clinical Quality Measures (CQM) Lists in their PY2025 Q1 report package (planned to be available in ACO-MS - https://acoms.cms.gov/login near the end of May 2025). There are several updates to the PY 2025 Q1 Medicare CQM lists, including a new format to improve usability and updates to reflect Calendar Year (CY) 2025 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) final rule changes:
- Updated the file format to an Excel file to provide additional tabs that filter ACOs' Quarterly List of Beneficiaries Eligible for Medicare CQMs based on measure filter variables.
- New filter variables were added for each measure that allow for the filtering of an ACO's Quarterly List of Beneficiaries Eligible for Medicare CQMs to produce a subset of beneficiaries to apply the measure-specific logic for determining denominator eligibility

- New indicator variables were added for the the Breast Cancer Screening Measure:
- The name of the "Diabetes measure" was updated to "Diabetes: Glycemic Status Assessment Greater Than 9% Measure."
- "Report period" was changed to "List period" to avoid confusion with the reporting period.
- Age variables for each measure were changed to performance year measurement rather than updating ages each quarter within the performance year
